To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what the total expenditure was on state primary schools in(a) the county of Essex in each year from 1980 until 1997 and (b) the county of Essex and the unitary authorities of Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock in each year from 1998 until 2003.
