To ask Vic Secretary of State for Education and Skills what the planned(a) full-time equivalent headcount and (b) funding allocations for the Office for Fair Access are in each of the first three years of its existence. [178205]

As we set out in the Regulatory Impact Assessment which we republished on 1 April 2004, we estimate the cost of the Office for Fair Access will average around £500,000 per year, which includes staffing needs. The Office has not yet been established and it is not possible at this stage to provide a full-time equivalent headcount.
