To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many new employees of non-departmental public bodies will be created as a result of the announcements made in the Comprehensive Spending Review. [184383]

All areas of the public service are committed to achieving efficiency gains of 2.5 per cent. per year over the Spending Review period. How these savings are delivered within non-departmental bodies (NDPBs) and the resulting changes to workforce number will be decided by the Department and their respective NDPBs.
