To ask the Deputy Prime Minister on what date he was informed of the intention of the Secretary of State for Education and Skills to direct Cambridgeshire County Council to increase its school budget by £4.5 million. [150834]

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has regular discussions with the Department for Education and Skills, including on the possible use of the power to set a minimum schools budget for a local authority.
