To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what recent discussions he has had with the First Secretary about the Barnett formula. [148362]

Mr. Hain

I have regular meetings with the First Minister to discuss funding arrangements for Wales. The Barnett formula is a means of calculating changes to the Welsh Block from its historic base.
