Whether they intend to introduce amending legislation to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 to remove the ban on the use of intercepted communications in court. [HL608]

A review is currently under way. It is too soon to say whether this will recommend removing the prohibition on the evidential use of intercepted communications.
