§ Ms HewittAccording to the Department's PQ database, the Department answered 2,867 Ordinary Written Questions in the session 2002–03. Of these, 2,293 (80 per cent.) were answered within five sitting days. 172 (6 per cent.) took longer than 10 days to receive a reply.
