To ask the Secretary of State for International Development whether the proposals in his Written Statement of 8 January 2004 on reorganisation of CDC will require parliamentary approval; and if he will make a statement. [153420]

The proposals described in my Statement of 8 January 2004 do not require parliamentary approval. Nevertheless, I intend to continue to keep Parliament fully informed about these changes as they are implemented.
