§ Caroline FlintThe Regional Task Force of Operation Tarian has executed 72 warrants, and made 82 arrests. At present no convictions have arisen as cases are 987W awaiting trial. It has seized 1.3 kg of cocaine, 0.491 kg of heroin, 8 kg of amphetamines, 15,738 tablets of ecstasy and 301,600 kg of cannabis, with a total estimated value of £1.6 million.
In addition it has seized £123,500 cash, placed restraining orders on property to the value of £1 million, dismantled six organised crime groups and disrupted 14 others.
