To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many deaths have occurred on the A40 from(a) the M40 to the A312 junction, (b) the A312 junction to the A4005 junction and (c) from the A4005 junction to Westway in the last three years. [151486]

On the A40 from the M40 to the London Boundary there have been seven recorded injury accidents in the 36 month period to 31 December 2003. All accidents were coded as slight.

The section of the A40 inside London forms part of the Greater London Authority Road Network—now known as the Transport for London Road Network—and is the responsibility of the Mayor and Transport for London (TfL).
