To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many dentists have been recruited to the NHS in each year since 1997 in the Cumbria and Lancashire Health Authority. [165542]

Information on the number of dentists joining the general dental service (GDS) or personal dental service (PDS) in the Cumbria and Lancashire Strategic Health Authority area in each year since 1997 is shown in the table.
