Proposals were published by the independent Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation in 2000. I understand that Advantage West Midlands have been developing these ideas, and I have asked for a copy of their proposal.

I am determined to ensure that all UK companies have access to the finance they need to expand with viable products and services, and the DTI has a number of programmes to assist with this.
