To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what estimate she has made of the proportion of the UK population who are able to receive(a) Channel 4 and (b) Channel 5. [128019]

I understand from the ITC that Channel 4 analogue services reach over 99.4 per cent. of the UK population and analogue Five coverage reaches about 80 per cent. of the UK population. Channel 4 and Five services are available across the whole UK via digital satellite and are also delivered by digital terrestrial television and cable.
