§ Mr. Mike O'BrienI have had numerous discussions with the Burmese authorities about the detention of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and wider human rights abuses in Burma, most recently on 1 September when I met the Burmese Ambassador. This has been supplemented by representations by the British Embassy in Rangoon.
