To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on the incidence of HIV/AIDS in the UK; and what change there has been in the incidence in the last 10 years.[141328]

The numbers of new diagnoses of HIV infection reported in the UK for the last 10 years are shown in the table. These are a mixture of new (incident) cases and new diagnoses of longer-standing infections.
