To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if, pursuant to his written statement of 12 June 2003,Official Report, column 57WS, on missile defence, he is now in a position to publish details of the bilateral arrangements to which he referred. [138022]

§ Mr. Hoon
On 3 October, I placed a copy of the Framework Memorandum of Understanding on Ballistic Missile Defence in the Library of the House.
As I set out in my Written Ministerial Statement on 12 June, further MOUs on the upgrade of the radar at RAF Fylingdales and on technical co-operation continue to be negotiated and remain confidential between the respective Governments at this stage.
