To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has to introduce Vitamin D supplements free to vulnerable children. [136215]

The Welfare Food Scheme provides vitamin supplements containing vitamins A, C and D, free of charge, to low income families. All children at risk of Vitamin D deficiency also may be prescribed Vitamin D supplements.
