What is their estimate of the number of citizens of the United Kingdom who are normally resident:

  1. (a) elsewhere in the European Union, including the accession states; and

According to the latest information available to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, there are approximately 15.5 million British Nationals living overseas, of which 2.3 million reside in the European Union, including the accession states.
