§ Mr. CaplinMembers of the armed forces, regardless of their role, can be required to serve anywhere in the world at any time, often in remote locations. As such they must be physically fit and able to meet the challenge that operating in these environments brings. Consequently, the Ministry of Defence has no plans to change its policy regarding the disqualification of individuals with anterior cruciate ligament damage from joining the armed forces.
