§ Mr. CaplinI am delighted to be able to tell my hon. Friend that the first medals to eligible Suez veterans were presented on 27 October. Over 12,000 applications426W have been received so far. All medals will be issued as quickly as possible and it is anticipated that over 900 will have been despatched by the end of this week in time for them to be worn on Remembrance Sunday.
