§ Mr. RammellSecurity Council Resolution 1422 is in force for a period of 12 months as from 12 July 2002. The Security Council has not yet embarked on discussion of what action to take upon the expiry of this Resolution, though I expect that it will do so within the next few weeks. SCR 1422 provides for its renewal for further 12-month periods.
