To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what the estimated value is of the property portfolio held by the Cabinet Office. [108367]

Mr. Alexander

The estimated value of the total property portfolio held by the Cabinet Office on 31 March 2002 was £157.1 million.

The above figure includes Downing Street and buildings that are owned by the Cabinet Office but are jointly occupied with other departments.
