To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if she will list the names, titles and grades of the officials who sit on the EU Contact Committee European Economic Interest Group, the number of times and the dates on which it has met since January 2002, the agenda items it has considered since January 2002, the decisions it has made since January 2002 and the means used to communicate these decisions to the House. There are no officials of the Department permanently appointed to sit on the Committee; such officials would be selected according to the subject matter under discussion at any meeting of the Committee. There have been no meetings of the Committee since January 2002, and consequently, there have been no agenda items or decisions taken by the Committee to communicate to the House during that period.
