§ Mr. PearsonIn Northern Ireland funding for supporting people will, in common with the other parts of the United Kingdom, be based upon actual requirements for the three-year period commencing 1 April 2003, rather than upon the Barnett Formula. The Department of Finance and Personnel, in consultation with the Department for Social Development, is currently in negotiations with HM Treasury to agree the allocations.
§ Mr. McGradyTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people have been identified by the health and social services trusts for transitional housing benefit through the Supporting People Project; and of those identified for benefit, how many will receive it. [103279]
§ Mr. BrowneA total of 887 people have been identified. All those who apply with valid transitional Housing Benefit claims received before 31 March 2003, will be paid.
