§ Mr. Ivan LewisBasic Aid Training is included in the curriculum as part of the framework for Personal Social and Health Education. The aim is to ensure that young children are safe within and outside their school environment. In primary schools, children learn the rules relating to health and safety and basic emergency aid. In secondary schools, young people develop the skills to cope with emergency situations that require basic aid procedures including resuscitation techniques.
