To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many properties have been compulsorily purchased by(a) the UK Atomic Energy Authority and (b) the Coal Authority in each year since 1999. [101828]

§ Mr. Wilson
The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority has not undertaken any compulsory purchases in this period. For its part the Coal Authority does not have compulsory purchase powers.
