To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the(a) number of staff employed by and (b) budget of each regulatory body for which his Department is responsible in each year since 1997. [117784]

Two transport bodies can be described as regulatory: the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Rail Regulator (ORR).
