To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on the future of the shared services initiative. [113268]

§ Mr. Hutton
The Department is currently undertaking a review to look at the future direction of shared services, and a number of options are under consideration. Current plans for two established shared services centres will not change and national health service trusts due to migrate finance activities to the centres will continue to do so.
