How many compliance notices have been issued by the Commission for Racial Equality to public bodies which are not meeting their statutory duty under the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 to eliminate unlawful racial discrimination and promote equality of opportunity and good race relations between people of different racial groups. I am advised by the commission that to date the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) has issued one compliance notice to a public body which has not met its statutory duty under the RR(A)A 2000 to promote race equality and good race relations.
