To ask the Secretary of State for Health what steps he is taking to improve preventative healthcare. [122430]

This Government places the highest priority on preventing illness, promoting the health of all, and improving the health of the poorest people as a priority. This means tackling inequalities, reducing mortality from cancer and coronary heart disease as well as reducing the burden caused by infectious disease.
