The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister was established as a separate department on 29 May 2002. From its formation until 31 December 2002, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister expenditure on newspapers, magazines and periodicals is estimated at £144,000, (including Government Offices). This figure is rounded to the nearest £1,000.
