§ Mr. HoonIn November 2002, the 19 NATO member states initiated a new feasibility study to examine options for protecting alliance territory, forces and population centres against the full range of missile threats. The United States also has bilateral discussions with a number of countries (including the United Kingdom) on territorial missile defence.
