[holding answer 7 January 2003]: The Treasury is committed to improving the diversity of its staff and has diversity targets to improve the representations of women, people from a minority ethnic background people with disabilities at all management levels. To help the Department to make further progress in this area. members of the Senior Civil Service have been asked to set themselves a diversity objective. These are monitored through the Department's internal performance management system. Progress against our diversity objectives will be published in the Treasury's 2003 Departmental Report.
