To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many teacher vacancies there were in Portsmouth, South in each year since 1997; and if he will make a statement. [98097]

Vacancy figures are available only at local authority level. The table provides information available for Portsmouth LEA since it was created in April 1997.
