§ Mr. Stephen TwiggMy Department is currently preparing a revised and updated Departmental policy which will incorporate all the best practice recommendations for procedures from the Revitalising H&S initiative. This will be formally offered to our Permanent Secretary for endorsement in the next few weeks. Similarly to many other Departments, this will propose that our Permanent Secretary continues to take overall responsibility for H&S in DfES. At Board level, it will further propose that the Director General for Corporate Services and Development takes specific responsibility for implementation of the Departmental policy and briefing Board colleagues on developments.
