To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what percentage of(a) primary and (b) secondary legislation sponsored by her Department in 2002–03 was introduced to implement EU requirements. [141130]

My Department sponsored four Bills during the 2002–03 session, of which 25 per cent. implemented EU requirements.
Of the 141 statutory instruments put through Parliament by my Department in 2002–03 session, 26 per cent. were introduced to implement EU requirements.
