To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many responses his Department received to the(a) Budget 2002 summary leaflets and (b) leaflets summarising the 2002 pre-Budget report. [145326]

The Treasury receives a large number of responses to its Budget and Pre-Budget Report documentation, not only from the public using the freepost service with the Pre-Budget Report leaflet, but also through letters, e-mails and telephone calls to the Treasury"s Public Enquiry Unit.
