How many universities provide courses in media studies, and how many students are taking courses in that subject. [HL139]

The latest available data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), show that 54 universities, and 17 HE institutions provided media studies courses in 2001–02. The number of students on these courses is shown in the table.
