As National Statistician, I have been asked to reply to your recent question about employment in the Hemsworth constituency. (109900)The working age employment rate in the Hemsworth constituency for the twelve month period ending February 1997 was 60.1 per cent. The rate for the twelve month period ending February 2002 was 65.5 per cent. These estimates are from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). Estimates of employment rates for Parliamentary Constituency areas for the twelve month period ending February 2003 are not yet available.
