§ Mr. McNultyWe will be issuing a draft Planning Policy Statement note on Renewable Energy and Planning for consultation at the turn of the year. This updated PPS revises PPG22. It will include guidance on including integrated renewables in developments such as housing. Also, through our planning policies for housing we encourage local authorities to adopt policies which promote the energy efficiency of new housing where possible.
