asked Her Majesty's Government:
Which cabinet committee or other government co-ordinating body has charge of integrating policies concerning discrimination on grounds of age. [HL 59801]

§ The Lord Privy Seal (Lord Williams of Mostyn):
DA(EQ) is responsible for co-ordinating the Government's policies on equality issues. DA(OP) is responsible for co-ordinating the Government's policies affecting older people. Both committees report as necessary to the Committee on Domestic Affairs. Copies of the terms of reference for all cabinet committees have been placed in the Libraries of the House.
