To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from which countries the UK imports fluoride. [42975]

According to information compiled by HM Customs and Excise, UK imported fluorides" from Germany, Spain, Sweden, Canada, Belgium, France, Japan, Italy, China, Netherlands, Brazil, India, Hong Kong, Irish Republic, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Norway and South Korea.

Note:

1 Fluorides are defined by codes 282611,282612 and 282619 of the Harmonised System.
