To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many contracts the Department has with Capita; and how much they are worth. [38378]

I can confirm that the Home Department has current contracts with Capita which are valued at £403 million. This includes a 10 year contract with the Criminal Records Bureau which is estimated to be worth £400 million over the term of the contract.
