To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions for what reason the Great Western Mainline was excluded from the SRA Strategic Plan. [41758]

The Great Western Main Line is not excluded from the Plan. Proposed incremental improvements are set out on page 67. The SRA's approach to major infrastructure improvements, including relative priorities, is set out in section 5 of the Plan.
