§ Clare ShortMy Department does not fund any programmes to combat urban poverty in Cameroon. We contribute to poverty reduction efforts in Cameroon through our support to the forestry sector. This is in recognition of the forestry sector's importance to the Cameroonian economy and the fact that a majority of poor people live in the forest zone.
