§ Mr. Stephen TwiggWe have taken forward the recommendations in the Better Regulation Task Force's report "Red Tape Affecting Head Teachers" in April 2000. For those recommendations relating to deregulation, we have taken appropriate measures in the current Education Bill, in particular for deregulation of school governance arrangements, and the streamlining of some governance functions.
