To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what plans she has to introduce for all employees(a) statutory entitlement to bank and public holidays and (b) a right to either time off, double pay or time off in lieu; and if she will make a statement. [62393]

The Government have no plans to change the existing bank holiday arrangements.
