To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when James Clark is to start work in his Department as a media relations manager. [61163]

Following an open competition run in accordance with Office of the Civil Service Commissioners' rules, Mr. Clark took up his appointment as a Communications Adviser working for the Director General Corporate Communications on Monday 10 June 2002.
