§ Mr. John Denham[holding answer 25 May 20021: The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs me that there are no Metropolitan Police officers within the SO19 Firearms Branch who are suspended from police duties as a result of firearms incidents. There are currently eight SO19 officers removed from operational firearms duties and on restricted duties pending the completion of investigations into incidents involving the discharge of a firearm.
