To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how many tons of imported frozen chicken breasts were consumed in the UK in the past year. [68844]

[holding answer 11 July 2002]: Information on the consumption of frozen chicken breasts in the UK is not available. The following table shows the total volume of UK imports of; frozen chicken breasts (with bone-in) and frozen cuts(boneless)in 2001.
